Learn to find your center and experience that still, quiet place within that allows you to access profound peace. Meditation helps us to reduce stress, boost our immune system, improve overall mood, and SO much more.

The Intro to Meditation Workshop is an interactive class for beginning and intermediate meditators. It include discussion and practice of various kinds of meditation including Zen-style zazen, mindfulness, loving-kindness, tonglen, body scanning/progressive relaxation, guided meditation, breath awareness, mantra, and others. Cascadia House offers an on-going meditation sitting and social group for those wishing to continue practice on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month. This is an excellent entry point for those wishing to learn meditation, and/or continue their meditation practice on their own, with us, or elsewhere.

Workshop facilitators: Chuck Powers and Sally Dubats.
